Gather 100,000 supporters who believe union membership and dues should be a choice.

 

Step 2: A private citizen launches a citizen initiative.

Once approved, 177,000 in-person signatures are collected.

 

Step 3: Hold a province-wide vote.

Albertans decide the outcome in a referendum.
